Ford Motor Company needed a way to assess their suppliers’ overall health, specifically in financial, quality, delivery and logistics areas. With the SCRM system, data provided from several sources is scored against sets of key performance indicators to evaluate individual suppliers and compare them to similar suppliers. Case files are opened to diagnose issues with troubled suppliers and tasks are recorded there to remedy the issues. Trend graphs are used to track performance for a given period of time.
